Hey girlie pops!
Can I just say something real? Being a teen in 2026 sometimes makes me mad for you.
Not “mad at you” — mad for you.
Because I see what you’re up against.
You see the girl who looks 20 at 14.
The one with skin that literally defies gravity.
The one whose parents say “yes” to all the things yours are still saying “absolutely not.”
And suddenly, there’s this invisible life leaderboard in your brain.
You’re stuck in the tutorial level while everyone else is at the Grand Finale, and you start whispering: “Am I normal yet? Or am I just… behind?”
And honestly? I see it happen, and it makes me want to scream: STOP comparing yourself to everyone else!
Here’s the tea: you cannot be behind on a timeline God personally wrote for YOU.
We get obsessed with World Time — milestones, trends, who’s dating who, what everyone else “should” have by now — and forget about Kingdom Time. God is the Master Author. And let me tell you: great authors don’t do filler chapters.
Psalm 139:16 says it like this:"Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
That word “ordained”? Deliberate. Planned. Perfectly timed. Your life isn’t a copy-paste of someone else’s highlight reel. He wrote YOUR book. He knows exactly when the plot twists, the blessings, and the growth moments need to happen.
So when you’re staring at someone else’s Chapter 10 and hating your Chapter 3 — stop.
Chapter 3 is where the magic, the growth, the patience, the strength happens. That’s where the foundation for the life you want is built.
And sis, hear me loud: I’m mad for you because I know how much potential is packed into your “boring little moments.”
The late-night group chats.
The afternoons that feel like nothing’s happening.
The “I’m still figuring it out” seasons.
That’s where God is building you. Not behind. Not slow. Just intentional.
Summer Move — The Pace Whisper:
Every time that “I’m behind” feeling hits while you’re scrolling today, pause.
Don’t doom-scroll or get jealous. Just whisper:“God, I trust Your pace.”
Then, celebrate one thing in your right-now chapter.
Your hoodie that feels like home.
A laugh with your brother.
The fact that you’re learning to navigate life without rushing it.
Those “quiet, ordinary” moments? That’s where your no-regret, God-authored summer begins.
Okay girlie… pocket this, own your chapter, and slay your story like the masterpiece God wrote you to be!
