Season 3 Kickoff: What’s Your Worldview? See Life Through Jesus’ Lens!

Imagine this. You grab someone else’s glasses. Not because you need them—just because they’re there. You put them on and immediately you’re like…Oh. This was a bad idea. Everything’s blurry. The floor feels questionable. You’re walking like a baby giraffe.

And what’s wild is—you don’t even realize how messed up your vision is… until you take them off. That? That’s how a lot of us are living.

We’re seeing life through lenses we DID NOT pick!! Lenses handed to us by culture, trends, opinions, and people who are loud but not always right. And we just assume… “Well… this must be how it is.”

But the lens you’re wearing? Low-key decides everything. How you see yourself. How you handle friendships. How you react when life hurts. How you decide what actually matters.

So welcome to Season 3!!!

We’re starting with one big, slightly uncomfortable, very important question: What’s your worldview? And is it actually working for you?

You GUYS. Welcome back to the podcast! Like—actually welcome back.

It’s been a minute, and I need to know: How was Christmas? How was New Year’s? How is your kickstart to 2026 going so far?Are we feeling hopeful? Are we exhausted? Are we somewhere in between with a lip gloss addiction and a Stanley cup?

Same.

If this is your first time here—hi, hello, I’m so glad you found us. And if you’ve been here since Season 1 or Season 2? Bestie. You already know the vibe!

This is FR, Let’s Talk—an anonymous Q&A podcast for teen girls, where literally nothing is off-limits.

You send in the questions you don’t know who else to ask. Faith stuff. Friend drama. Confidence. Anxiety. Boy stuff. Doubts.God questions you feel weird even having. No names. No pressure. No judgment. Just honest questions—and real answers through God’s Word. And if you were here last season, you know we went DEEP.

Like… four whole months deep. We walked through the life of Joseph—watching God stay faithful through jealousy, rejection, waiting, betrayal, and dreams that felt delayed way longer than they should have.

That season taught us something huge: God is faithful—even when life is unfair, confusing, or feels straight-up brutal. But this season? Different vibe. Season 3 is called “The Gospel According To…”And we’re taking everything you’re dealing with right now—anxiety, friendships, self-worth, social media, emotions—and asking one question: What happens when you actually look at life through Jesus?

Quick pause—important question:Did you snag a Literally Magazine subscription for 2026? Because you girls asked for: More real talk. More faith that fits real life. More Jesus—without the cringe.

So we made Literally Magazine.

It’s biblically salty, eternally lit, and your every-other-month dose of God, glow-ups, and girl-powered goodness. Faith. Truth. Culture. Jesus—without the fluff.

You can grab yours at frletstalk.com/magazine. OR, simply head to the show notes and look for the Stripe Link where you can order your magazine ASAP! Future-you? Already grateful.

Alright.Deep breath.Season 3 is officially ON. Let’s get into it!

Now, before we deep dive, let’s bring you up to speed on all things “expectations” for season 3! The simple truth is this… I want you to feel like you’re sitting across from me, coffee in hand, getting the real talk every SINGLE episode.

So…Here’s the rhythm we’ll follow so you know exactly what’s coming:

1    The Lens Check – A quick look at how culture, trends, and your surroundings are shaping what you believe.

2    The Real Talk Story – A peek into my life, my mistakes, my insecurities, and what I’ve learned—so you know you’re not alone.

3    The Life IRL Scenario – A situation that’s super relatable to your world right now, and how you might navigate it.

4    The Gospel Focus – Scripture, truth, and how God’s story reframes everything.

5    Try This – One actionable, totally do-able step to live it out this week.

6    Prayer – Short, prophetic, and real—straight to God from the heart.

Same structure every episode. New topic. Same vibe. Same energy. Same real talk.

Now, you guys. This season has 40 episodes. Yep. Forty. And every single one filters a part of real life through one lens: the gospel.

The Gospel according to anxiety.

The Gospel according to friendship.

The Gospel according to self-care.

The Gospel according to social media.

The Gospel according to feelings.

Not what culture says.

Not what trends say.

Not what everyone else says.

But what Jesus says. Think of this season like getting a brand-new pair of glasses—ones that actually bring the world into focus. And every episode is helping you learn how to think, not just what to think.

Without being boring.

Without being preachy.

Without being fake.

Also—please never stop sending in questions. This podcast moves because you ask.

Okay. Now…Let’s get into it. What is Worldview?

So..some of you might be asking, what is this worldview thing she keeps talking about? I’m so glad you asked. Here’s the simplest way to think about it: A worldview is the lens you use to see everything.

It’s how you answer big questions like:

    •    Who am I?

    •    Why am I here?

    •    What’s right and wrong?

    •    What do I do when life hurts?

    •    What actually matters?

And here’s the key thing you need to know: Everyone has a worldview. Even if they’ve never heard the word before. You don’t wake up and say, “Hmm, today I think I’ll adopt individualism.” No!! Worldviews are formed by what you listen to the most.

TikTok.

Music.

Friends.

Teachers.

TV Shows.

Comments sections.

Which is why Romans 12:2 says:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Notice it doesn’t say, “Be careful, you might be influenced.” It assumes you are.

And Colossians 2:8 gets even more direct:

“See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy…”

Taken captive. That’s strong language. Because the loudest voice usually wins!! Am I right? Here’s the thing… Culture has its own worldview.

It says things like:

    •    “Your truth is what matters.”

    •    “Follow your heart.”

    •    “You are the center.”

    •    “If it feels right, it must be right.”

And listen—some of that sounds kind of good. That’s the danger. Almost-truth is more confusing than straight-up lies.

Jesus, on the other hand, says this in John 14:6:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

Not a truth. Not your truth. THE TRUTH!

So the question isn’t: “Do I have a worldview?” The real question is: Is it true? And here’s the wild part—Jesus actually talked about this exact idea.

In Matthew 6, He says something that sounds simple, but hits deep:

“The eye is the lamp of the body.If your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness.”

At first, you’re like… okay? Eye health? Vision check? Cool? But Jesus isn’t talking about eyesight. He’s talking about how you see reality. Your eye is the lens. And whatever lens you’re using doesn’t just affect what you notice—it affects how you live.

If your lens is comparison? Everything feels heavy. If your lens is approval? You’re always anxious. If your lens is “I have to prove myself”?You’re exhausted before the day even starts. Jesus is saying: If the way you’re seeing life is distorted, it won’t just mess with your thoughts—it will mess with your whole life.

That’s worldview.

And here’s the hope: Jesus doesn’t just point out the problem. He offers a better lens. Jesus doesn’t just tell us to see better. He gives us a whole new story to see life through.

And that story?That’s the gospel.

The gospel isn’t just something you believe so you can go to heaven someday.

It’s a story that explains reality.

Four parts. Super simple.

Creation.

God made you. On purpose. With value.

You are not random. You are not an accident.

Fall.

Sin broke the world—and it broke how we see truth.

That’s why things feel confusing.

That’s why good things get twisted.

Redemption.

Jesus steps in and restores our sight.

He doesn’t just forgive sin—He teaches us how to live in truth.

Restoration.

One day, God will make everything right.

Pain doesn’t get the final word. Jesus does.

And…That’s the lens. And when you put that lens on? Life starts to make sense. Not easy, no.—but clear. So let me ask you a few honest questions.

What lens are you wearing right now? When you look at yourself—Do you see comparison?Or Christ? When you scroll—Do you believe everything you hear? Or do you stop and ask, “Is this true?” If your beliefs were a filter— Would they distort reality…or actually help you see clearly?

Because the gospel isn’t just something you hear on Sundays. It’s the lens we’re putting over every episode this season.

Now… Let me be honest with you for a second. There was a season in my life where I thought my worldview was Christian…but my reactions were NOT. I believed God loved me, sure. But I still measured my worth by approval. By productivity. By how I looked like I had it together. So when things didn’t go how I planned? I spiraled. Not because God failed — but because my lens was cracked. I was seeing life through Jesus plus culture. And that combo will always distort the picture. It wasn’t until I slowed down and actually asked, “What story am I living inside right now?” that things started to come into focus.

So how does this actually apply to your life? Let’s run it out.

Maybe You’re scrolling. Just chilling. Not sad. Not dramatic. And suddenly everyone looks happier than you. More confident. More put together.

And your brain goes:

“I should look like that.”

“I should be further along.”

“Why don’t I feel like that?”

That’s not just insecurity. That’s a worldview talking. Culture’s lens says: Your value comes from comparison. From performance. From keeping up. But the gospel?

Different story.

So today, here’s what I want you to remember: You already have a worldview. It’s shaping you whether you notice it or not. Culture is loud. But Jesus is true!!

And the gospel isn’t just good news for heaven—it’s good news for right now.

Here’s your challenge for this week—and it’s simple:

Every time you scroll. Every time you react. Every time you feel overwhelmed or confused—Ask this question: “What lens am I looking through right now?”

And if you’re not sure...that’s okay. That’s why we’re here.

Send in your questions. Keep listening. And let’s learn how to see clearly—together.

Before we go, let’s do one last Lens Check together.

Because nothing we talked about today works unless you actually notice what lens you’re wearing. Here’s the truth: You’re not broken if life feels confusing. You’re not failing if confidence feels fragile. And you’re not behind if everyone else looks like they’ve got it together. Sometimes, it’s not your life that needs fixing.

It’s your lens.

Culture will tell you: Try harder. Look better. Keep up. Be more. But Jesus? He invites you to see differently.

So here’s your Try This for the week:

Every time you scroll. Every time you react. Every time you feel overwhelmed, insecure, or stuck—Pause and ask: “What lens am I looking through right now?”Is this coming from culture? Or Christ? And if you don’t know yet? That’s okay. That’s literally why this season exists. Because the gospel isn’t just something you believe. It’s something you live through.

Let’s pray.

Jesus,

Thank You for loving us enough to tell us the truth. Help us recognize when culture is shaping us more than Your Word. Give us eyes to see clearly. Teach us how to live, think, and choose through You. We don’t want louder opinions—we want Your truth.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

And hey—before you go, hear this:

Jesus isn’t asking you to be more impressive. He’s inviting you to see clearly. To take off the lenses that exhaust you. To stop chasing standards that never loved you back. To see your body, your friendships, your future—through truth. This season is about that shift.

So stay with us.

Ask the questions.

Don’t be afraid to look again.

Because everything changes when you see life through Jesus!!
